Brenda Mitchell has a doctorate degree in Public Administration, a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, over 30 years of experience, and prominent recognition in government, business and urban communities. She was appointed to the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution (IECR), National Roster of Environmental Dispute Resolution on Consensus Building Professionals from 2002 to present. In 1991, she was former Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, 1989 Deputy Secretary of the PA Department of Commerce, 1984 Executive Director, City Ventures Corporation/Business Manager for the Control Data Corporation, and 1974 Director of Manpower Planning for the New York City Addiction Services Agency. Mitchell has managed multimillion-dollar budgets, facilitated extensive research, and executed major planning and contract management initiatives. Her broad economic and community development projects encompass activities in New York City as well as in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Corporate goals are targeted to helping economically impoverished communities to grow, bridging gaps, and creating win-win outcomes for public and private sector organizations.
