Elizabeth Krause, MPH

At the Connecticut Health Foundation, as senior program officer, Elizabeth Krause manages the foundation’s portfolio of grants and strategic initiatives to achieve health equity by eliminating racial and ethnic health disparities. She also serves the program director for the foundation’s Health Leadership Fellows Program, which cultivates 20 diverse health equity champions annually with a network of 120 fellows statewide.

Elizabeth was formerly a prevention specialist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where she was instrumental in establishing Colorado’s Office of Health Disparities while on two year field assignment. She holds a masters degree from the Harvard School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree from Smith College. She is a fellow of Grantmakers in Health’s Keenan Institute for Emerging Leaders in Health Philanthropy.
